Android Engineer (Kotlin)

Naviyas is hiring an Android Engineer to build and maintain native Android apps.

Location: UAE

Type: Full-Time

Experience: 5+ years of professional native Android development

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain native Android apps with Kotlin and Jetpack
• Turn UX/UI designs into accessible, responsive interfaces
• Design app architecture with MVVM or Clean Architecture and Hilt or Dagger
• Integrate REST APIs, manage local data and support offline use
• Optimize performance, memory, battery and startup time
• Write unit and UI tests and join code reviews
• Manage Google Play releases and fix production crashes

Requirements

• Strong Kotlin and Jetpack skills (Navigation, ViewModel, Flow, Room)
• MVVM or Clean Architecture with Hilt or Dagger
• REST APIs, JSON and SDK integration
• Play Store release and app signing experience
• JUnit and Espresso testing, and good English

• Multi-module architecture
• Huawei HMS or HarmonyOS
