Associate Lighting Designer

Blake Anderson is recruiting an Associate Lighting Designer for a leading lighting design specialist in its Dubai team.

Location: Dubai, UAE
Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor designers through one-to-ones, feedback and appraisals
• Lead concept development, design workshops and technical reviews
• Oversee project delivery, workload planning and client issues
• Take accountability for portfolio profitability and invoicing milestones
• Build client and consultant relationships and support bids
• Help develop studio procedures and design standards

Requirements

• Degree in lighting design, architecture, interior design or electrical engineering
• Significant architectural lighting experience
• Portfolio across hospitality, residential, commercial or retail projects
• Revit, AutoCAD and lighting software skills
• Experience leading or mentoring designers
• UAE or GCC experience preferred
