Move Up Consultancy is hiring a Junior Shipping Accountant for a freight forwarding and shipping company in Dubai.
Location: Dubai, UAE
Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Experience: 2-4 years in freight forwarding, shipping or logistics accounting
Salary: AED 3,000 – 4,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounting operations in the finance team
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Complete bank reconciliations
- Record shipping-related payments and transactions
- Check shipping line invoices and port charges
Requirements
- 2-4 years of accounting experience in freight forwarding, shipping or logistics (mandatory)
- Hands-on AR/AP and bank reconciliation experience
- Familiarity with freight forwarding transactions
- Good knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel
