Senior Software Engineer (C++, Trading Systems)

Sparkland is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work on the core of its cryptocurrency trading systems, with a Dubai office and a multicultural team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain market data components and connectivity to cryptocurrency exchanges
• Develop trading algorithms and add features to the trading system
• Optimise the system for latency at the microsecond and nanosecond level
• Work with other teams to maintain and improve the platform

Requirements

• 8+ years of C++ development, ideally 10+ years in software overall
• Experience with high-load, low-latency applications
• Solid grasp of design patterns, data structures and algorithms
• Good knowledge of network protocols
• Experience in financial markets or high-frequency systems
• Strong debugging skills and the ability to lead technical work independently

Nice to Have

• WebSockets, FIX or Kafka
• Trading strategy development
• Kernel bypass or DPDK
