Squarepoint Capital is hiring a Senior Quant Researcher for fixed income strategies in its Dubai office.
Responsibilities
- Research and implement strategies within the firm automated trading framework
- Analyse large data sets with advanced statistical methods to find trading opportunities
- Build a strong understanding of market structure across exchanges and asset classes
- Confirm that data and processes are ready before market open and monitor strategy behaviour during market hours
Requirements
- Quantitative background such as mathematics, statistics, financial engineering, computer science or physics
- Proficiency in at least one major language such as C++, Java or Python
- Track record of developing and implementing systematic strategies
- Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure with colleagues in several regions
