Payroll Accounting Manager (Remote UAE)

inDrive is hiring a Payroll Accounting Manager. The role is remote and open to candidates based in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end and quarter-end close, reconciliations and close presentations for management
• Own payroll accounting, including processing, reconciliation, compliance and reporting
• Design and implement accounting procedures, internal controls and compliance mechanisms
• Lead process improvements focused on automation, efficiency and scalability
• Draft accounting policies based on US GAAP guidance
• Work with external auditors on audit deliverables and help process employee equity grants

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years at a public company (startup or high-growth preferred)
• Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or equivalent preferred
• Demonstrated payroll accounting and compliance experience
• Track record of leading process improvements and system implementations
• Proficiency in NetSuite or similar accounting software
