QA Lead Automation Engineer (Remote)

RELQ Technologies is hiring a QA Lead Automation Engineer to own test automation for web applications. The role is remote for candidates based in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test scripts with Playwright and Selenium
• Work with developers, product managers and QA colleagues to reach full test coverage
• Add automated tests to CI/CD pipelines
• Run functional, regression and performance testing
• Log and track defects and help teams resolve them
• Analyse results and report on product quality
• Improve testing strategy, frameworks and practices

Requirements

• Degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of hands-on QA automation, with proven Playwright and Selenium expertise
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java or C#
• Experience with Jest, Mocha, JUnit or PyTest
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
• Strong analytical, debugging and communication skills
