Senior Accountant, Reporting (Dubai)

Chalhoub Group is hiring a Senior Accountant for reporting in Dubai. The role plans and directs accounting activity for the business units it supports.

What You Will Do

• Follow accounting policies and standard procedures
• Run the monthly and year-end closing processes
• Reconcile accounts and review monthly bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly management reports and financial analysis for business unit managers
• Coordinate with external auditors and support audits
• Support payroll arrangements with HR, ERP system implementation with IT, and cash management
• Guide junior team members and give technical accounting advice

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in commerce or accounting
• 3 to 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years at a Big 4 audit firm
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent English; Arabic and French are a plus
