Certified Public Accountant, Senior (Remote UAE)

uvation is hiring a senior Certified Public Accountant. The role is remote and open to candidates based in the UAE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review and analyse financial statements under US GAAP, IFRS or other applicable standards
• Lead monthly, quarterly and year-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis
• Support internal and external audits as the main contact for auditors
• Manage tax compliance and filings
• Help with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow monitoring
• Support internal controls and accounting policies, and handle multi-entity and multi-currency transactions
• Mentor and review the work of junior accounting staff

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; a master degree is preferred
• 10+ years of accounting experience, including 8 or more in a senior or supervisory role
• CPA certification highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, financial reporting and regulatory compliance
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as MS Dynamics or NetSuite and strong Excel skills
