Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts is hiring an Engineer for the Engineering department at Burj Al Arab, Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and direct the daily work of engineering supervisors and staff
- Inspect completed repair and maintenance work against standards
- Help implement and monitor the Jumeirah Engineering Management System, including fire, life and safety, planned maintenance and work orders
- Handle staff grievances and suggestions and recommend action to senior engineering management
- Submit monthly activity reports when required
Requirements
- Health and safety certification
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience in a supervisory role in a 5-star hotel, with Middle East experience
- Experience with fire and life safety systems and knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems
- Computer literacy, team leadership and organisation skills
