Sommerman Skinner Associates (SSA Limited) is recruiting an Estimator for a leading UAE civil and infrastructure contractor.
Location: Dubai, UAE (candidates in Dubai or Abu Dhabi considered)
Type: Full-Time, Permanent | On-Site
Experience: 3-7 years
Salary: AED 15,000 – 25,000 per month, inclusive of fixed allowances
Key Responsibilities
- Support the pre-contracts team in tendering and pricing civil and infrastructure projects
- Review tender documents and bills of quantities
- Perform quantity take-offs and build cost estimates
- Obtain supplier and subcontractor quotes
- Identify tender risks
- Coordinate submissions with engineering, procurement and commercial teams
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in quantity surveying, civil engineering, construction management or similar
- 3-7 years of estimating experience in civil infrastructure
- Experience with roads, bridges, drainage and earthworks
- Practical skills in take-offs, BOQs, cost build-ups and tender preparation
- Strong Excel skills; CCS experience is an advantage
