QA Engineer, CTRM Platform (Remote)

Raw Ventures is hiring a QA Engineer to own testing for a commodity trading and risk management (CTRM) platform. The role is remote and open to candidates based in the UAE.

What You Will Do

• Set the test strategy and plans for deal capture, pricing, invoicing, costs, P&L and reporting
• Build automated tests at API, data and UI level and run them in CI
• Create realistic test scenarios and confirm expected results with the business
• Run regression checks so the same inputs and dates always reproduce the same P&L
• Test data integrations and reconcile results against source systems
• Review code and tests produced by coding agents
• Support user acceptance testing and turn user concerns into reproducible defects
• Advise on release readiness

Requirements

• 4+ years in QA or testing, including ownership of strategy and automation on a business-critical product
• Python (pytest or similar), API testing and UI automation (Playwright, Cypress or similar)
• Strong SQL for checking calculations and data
• Experience with calculation-heavy or financial systems and CI/CD
• Experience working with coding agents
• Clear written English and professional-level Russian

Nice to Have

• CTRM or ETRM and commodity trading experience
• Performance testing and property-based testing
• Experience building a QA function from scratch
