Emirates Group is hiring a Senior Software Engineer to design, build and maintain software with limited supervision.
Location: Dubai, UAE
Type: Full-Time
Experience: 3+ years of backend development
Key Responsibilities
- Turn small to medium initiatives into designs and working code
- Write secure, optimized code to company standards
- Join the rotational on-call support for production issues
- Maintain full unit test coverage within the CI/CD pipeline
- Fix defects, refactor, and add logging and monitoring
Requirements
- Degree in computer science, software engineering or a related field
- Backend experience, primarily Java 8+, with microservices
- Familiarity with Django, REST Framework, GraphQL, Solace and NGINX
- Data tooling such as Spark, Airflow, pandas and scikit-learn is listed
- PyTest, SonarQube and Dynatrace experience
