Prompt General Contracting is hiring a Planning Engineer in Abu Dhabi.
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Type: Full-Time | On-Site (regular site visits)
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain baseline schedules and get them approved by the client and project team
- Flag risks and critical milestones during tendering
- Identify critical paths, key activities and dependencies
- Prepare weekly and monthly lookahead plans and progress reports
- Run delay analyses, propose mitigation and build recovery schedules
- Track shop drawing and material deliveries against the programme
- Visit the site regularly to check actual progress
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 2-5 years of planning experience on engineering projects
- Advanced Primavera P6 and Excel skills
- Strong critical path analysis and reporting abilities
- Good communication and negotiation skills
