CFO / Finance Director (Construction Contractor)

Ignite Search & Selection is hiring a CFO / Finance Director for a premier construction contractor in the UAE.

Location: Dubai, UAE
Type: Full-Time
Salary: AED 50,000 – 55,000 per month, including fixed allowances

Key Responsibilities

• Set financial strategy, annual budgets, forecasts and long-term financial models
• Manage project cash flow, working capital, credit lines, letters of credit and bank guarantees
• Oversee project costing, IFRS 15 revenue recognition, subcontractor payments and variation evaluations
• Build internal controls, governance policies and risk frameworks; ensure UAE Corporate Tax and VAT compliance
• Maintain relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities and joint-venture partners
• Lead the finance, accounting, payroll and internal audit teams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• Professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• 15+ years of finance leadership in construction or contracting in the GCC/UAE
• Expertise in construction accounting, JV accounting, claims and trade finance
• Strong strategic, analytical and negotiation skills
