Deal Desk Director, International (Remote)

Kong, an API and AI connectivity software company, is hiring a Deal Desk Director for its international business, working remotely from the UAE. The role leads and scales deal operations across EMEA and APJ as a player-coach, partnering closely with sales leaders.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, mentor and develop the international deal desk team
• Enforce pricing policies, discount guidelines and approval frameworks
• Work with finance, legal and product on complex enterprise deals and new product pricing
• Advise sales teams on deal structuring, negotiation and risk
• Set deal desk policies and governance and automate manual work
• Build reporting on deal performance, pricing trends and compliance for senior leadership

Requirements

• Extensive experience in deal desk, revenue operations or sales operations
• Experience supporting EMEA and APJ regions
• Deep knowledge of quote-to-cash processes and tools
• Strong financial modelling and commercial negotiation skills
• Expertise in consumption-based pricing at a fast-growing software company
• Proven leadership and executive-level communication
