Merchant Acquisition Intern (Abu Dhabi / Dubai)

Tamara, a buy-now-pay-later fintech platform serving Saudi Arabia and the GCC, is hiring a Merchant Acquisition Intern in the UAE. The intern joins the in-store operations team to sign new partner businesses and check marketing materials in partner stores.

Responsibilities

• Approach potential merchants at their physical locations and introduce Tamara services
• Build relationships with merchants and understand their needs
• Give in-person product demonstrations and answer merchant concerns
• Collect market feedback, competitor activity and in-store visibility information
• Guide interested merchants through application and onboarding

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in business, marketing or a related field
• Strong Arabic and English communication and persuasion skills
• Good organisation, attention to detail and CRM familiarity
• Energetic and proactive, able to work alone and in a team
• A UAE driving licence is mandatory
