UX Lead (6-Month Contract)

Selecto is looking for a senior, hands-on UX Lead for a client project in Dubai, reporting to the Experience Director. The role covers digital products, campaigns and service experiences across government, charity, retail and tourism, working with UI and UX designers, content and development teams, product managers and design directors.

Location: Dubai, UAE only (possibly one day a week at the client’s office)

Contract: 6 months, with possible extension (project-based)

Note: Social package (sick leave, days off, vacation, equipment) is not covered.

Responsibilities

• UX strategy and experience definition, including user journeys, task flows and information architecture
• Day-to-day UX design delivery: wireframes and prototypes, working with UI designers
• User research, testing and usability audits
• Standardising UX practice through templates, playbooks and documentation
• Quality control for usability, accessibility and consistency
• Mentoring junior designers

Requirements

• Senior, hands-on UX leadership experience
• Fluent English
• Ability to work independently, collaborate across disciplines and guide junior team members
