TechOps Engineer (Azure, RHEL, Java Platforms)

Fanatics Momentum, a UAE business licensed by the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority, is hiring a TechOps Engineer in Abu Dhabi. The role operates, stabilises and modernises Azure-hosted platforms running Java Spring Boot microservices on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, with round-the-clock operations.

Responsibilities

• Build and support Azure environments and administer RHEL, including hardening, patching and tuning
• Act as the L2 and L3 escalation point, leading root cause analysis and permanent fixes
• Troubleshoot across operating system, network, middleware, JVM and databases
• Lead security vulnerability remediation and work with security and network operations teams on incidents
• Deliver infrastructure as code with Terraform, GitHub Actions and Ansible
• Help build the centralised ELK logging and observability platform
• Own backup, restore testing and disaster recovery readiness
• Join a 24/7 on-call rotation and maintain runbooks and dashboards

Requirements

• 8+ years in TechOps, infrastructure, SRE or production operations
• Strong hands-on Azure and RHEL experience in production
• Proven support of Java microservices and middleware
• Advanced Elasticsearch and JVM observability skills
• Terraform, GitHub Actions, Ansible and Python or Bash scripting
• ITIL familiarity and comfort with 24/7 operations
• A plus: experience in regulated gaming environments
